Israel’s CERT is on the Map!

January 25th, 2013

The European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) working for EU Institutions and Member States, is the official EU organization for cyber security issues of the European Union. This Information Security Centre of expertise is a vital hub for information exchange, best practices and knowledge in the field of information security.

Over the years Israel was never listed in the ENISA map, but in September 2012, IUCC and Israel’s e-government site requested that Israel be added to the official European map of CERT teams. Israel can now be found in the ENISA’s recently published interactive map of Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) in Europe. This list includes all publicly listed CERT teams operating in the European area. This list now includes 195 CERT teams, 22 more than when the inventory was last updated in spring 2012.
