Microsoft Azure & IUCC Offer Campus Courses on Cloud Computing for Research

Learn from the experts on how to get the most for your research from the cloud!

Microsoft Research and the Inter-University Computation Center are delighted to offer, three one-day hands-on technical training events for academic researchers interested in cloud computing using Microsoft Azure. This is part of our Microsoft Azure for Research program –

Three, free of charge, one-day training events will be held:

  • Technion Computer Engineering Center hosted training on Monday November 10th – Register here
  • Ben-Gurion University hosted training on Tuesday November 11th – Register here
  • Tel Aviv University hosted training on Wednesday November 12th – Register here

Attendees will be able to access Microsoft Azure on their own laptop or desktop computers during the training, and receive a three month Microsoft Azure Pass for evaluation purposes. The course will also provide an opportunity to learn more about receiving a significant Windows Azure 12-month grant for research, joining one of over 300 projects worldwide using the Cloud (proposals can submitted via the online submission site).
