- No need for credit card
- 37% discount on Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- Nimbus discounts of 42% on the consumption of Google’s cloud services in Israel and 37% on the consumption of Google’s cloud services in the rest of the world
- Nimbus discounts of 35% on the consumption of AWS cloud services. In addition, AWS 24/7 support and service fee for 5% of the consumption amount before Nimbus discounts will be charged.

- Creating free-tier account is done independently (not through the IUCC), and requires a credit card.
- Requests to use an existing free-tier account via IUCC must be accompanied by an official purchase order submitted to IUCC by the applicant’s institution
- IUCC does not offer budget control for free-tier accounts
