IUCC offers a variety of public cloud services to academic researchers and computer scientists in order to encourage efficient and cost-effective use of these services for research and development and teaching.

Create and manage accounts with Azure, AWS, and Google

  • No need for credit card
  • 37% discount on Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
  • Nimbus discounts of 42% on the consumption of Google’s cloud services in Israel and 37% on the consumption of Google’s cloud services in the rest of the world
  • Nimbus discounts of 30% on the consumption of AWS cloud services
  • Monthly usage reporting and e-mail budget alerts
  • Open an account / Add funds to an existing account

Create and manage free-tier accounts with Azure, AWS, and Google

  • Creating free-tier account is done independently (not through the IUCC), and requires a credit card.
  • Requests to use an existing free-tier account via IUCC must be accompanied by an official purchase order submitted to IUCC by the applicant’s institution
  • IUCC does not offer budget control for free-tier accounts
