IUCC Wins Award for Excellence in ORCID Integrations

At the ORCID Global Consortia Workshop held in Atlanta in May 2019, Dror Berger, Technological Leader of the IUCC CRIS project accepted the Award for Excellence in successful ORCID interface integrations. IUCC, leader of the Israeli ORCID consortium, was recognized for implementing six integrations, out of its eight member universities, since initiating the project in July 2018.

No other national consortium achieved this task in such a short period. By July 2019, IUCC is expected to have 100% of its eight members fully integrated with the system. According to ORCID management, this unprecedented pace and success rate is indicative of Israel’s high level of technological innovation, and the “go to” early adoption philosophy and willingness to embrace new technologies of IUCC and of its members.

Congratulations to Dror and the MALMAD team for a job well done!
